Old Castrol "Formerly Syntec" still on the shelf

This stuff has been on the shelf at my Local NAPA for a little while I’d say:

“Formerly Syntec”. This stuff has to be pre-2010, right?

Would you use it? Seems like it should probably be discarded.

Is there a lot of it there? I'd be curious if it's actually in their system if they scanned it.
I'd run it in some OPE.
 
I miss that bottle design. ALways liked how sharp it was. I miss those clear quaker state bottles too I liked looking at them.
 
LOL I think 10w-30 is a slow seller these days can't remember what auto parts store I was in last summer but the 10w-30 they had bunch of accumulated dust. Auto parts stores near me have crazy high prices on oil.
 
Rarely anyone buys quarts from those stores which is why they are always old so they collect dust. They are ridicuously over priced even from Walmart. I always buy the jugs, use the rest for top-off or for the next oil change.

I only bought liter bottles when I had cars that used oil between changes.
None of them do now so they're pointless for me.
