Old bottles of Gumout Regane

So my local oriental store has started selling Gumout Regane, but they are in the old bottle design and the liquid looks black. The bottle looks sucked in also. Is it considered expired or is it still good? The price is a steal though.

The Regane bottles at Big Lots are the older larger bottle that is clear, and the contents is amber. Dark sounds bad or counterfeit.

I had one in the trunk for a year or so and the same thing happened to the color of the Regane. I used it anyway on an older TBI injection car. I think the heat does that....not sure what may have happened chemically as well. Had no bad effect on the old chevy though.
