I am trying to find out if I have a separate differential drain? We're talking about the 92 Corolla, not my Accord. I do not one more drain and fill will get most, if not all, of the engine oil out. I tend to do it soon. I am not familiar with the fluid exchange method so I haven't try it. I just wish my rent-a-bay garage has one of those machine for me to use but they don't. I probably should do a drain and refill in 1k miles.
This car, originally owned by a Floridan couple, was given a complete underbody coating so there is no rust. I wish I can do the same for my Honda but the guy running the garage won't let me. Hopefully I can get on another fellow's schedule to do so.
I'll keep you guys updated. This thing has 93k miles now. I am betting that the transmission will go for another 100k without breaking the sweat. A fellow at work has the same car with 340k miles and his car still runs strong. It is so small a car that driving it on interstate is worrisome with all the big vehicles roaming our super highway.
