Ok, I want a new phone....

Switched from iPhone to a Pixel 10 Pro XL and love it. US mobile had it on sale, paid $800 for it. I was a bit apprehensive since they don't benchmark well but honestly it's more than fast enough.

Also fun fact, YouTube premium is $23/month on android, it's $30 through apple.

You might not need a stylus, I have a regular iPhone 14 for work and a Pixel 10 Pro XL for my personal device. I find typing on the iPhone infuriating and having to make a ton of corrections.

The Moto devices are great and well worth a consideration.
Good to know. When I was in high school everyone took typing class. My mom was the teacher so I felt pressured to do well, which I did. 81 wpm on a 1948 Royal manual typewriter. I can still type well, but not on this iphone. Too many times I touch the keyboard and it doesn't do anything, sometimes I have words that are 100% misspelled, and this new version 26 operating system looks like it was designed by a 16 year old girl wearing Bobby socks. I've had several "Note" phones and kept breaking them because of that curved glass that was an abomination to the Lord. So I got an Iphone 12 Pro Max. The screen is recessed properly so I haven't broken any. But... the lack of customization, this keyboard situation, and the overall childish looking 26.2 operating system has me wanting some freedom. Thanks.

Just upgraded my 4 phones (myself, brother, mother, and father) to the S25. Nothing really major in difference from my old S23 but I was able to get all 4 phones for free by trading in old phones. The battery is larger in the S25 than the S23 so hopefully it will end up lasting longer than my S23 did. Some days when I used the wifi hotspot I would barely have any charge by the end of the day and would have to charge at some point.

Now my parents are definitely getting a new experience as they had 5+ year old phones, S20FE. I made them upgrade because they stopped getting security updates this year. Upgrading them is always a pain as they can never remember any passwords and we have to reference their "password notebook" to get everything setup and working. And then they complain that stuff is different and they don't like it. Yeah, that's why I wait 5+ years to get you both new phones. You are going to complain no matter what so I might as well wait as long as I possibly can to do it.

Being the IT guy of the family is always a fun time.

I thought you can pay the lower price if you subscribe directly through YouTube instead the Apple Store.
I just checked and says you can.
