I need an oil that has a decent amount of ZDDP for my rebuilt motor. I have a 1980 Toyota Corolla with a 3TC, this is a pushrod motor with solid lifters and I'm putting in a performance flat tappet type cam (Isky Racing TH77 cam). I'd like to know what you guys would recommend.
The block is recieving new oversized pistons and rings, so I'm guessing maybe a 10W30 would be fine, but I'm not sure. I plan on revving the engine up in the neighborhood of 7000 RPMs when I finish breaking in.
Looking for oil for break in and after with decent levels of ZDDP appropriate for my engine.
