Cheap, meets JASO for wet clutches and can be found in 5 gallon pails.
Being north of me I am sure you see colder temps. You don't use 15w40 during the winter in your outdoor equipment do you?
No. I wouldn't be able to get it to turn over.
In the winter I buy a 5 gallon pail of 5w30 at Walmart and shorten the drain interval.
My Small engines seem to have a fuel dilution issue. The fuel gets in but never evaporates out in the winter,so I check everything weekly.
I've got 14 air compressors now,an 7 generators,so buying jugs of oil is pointless.
Dang, thought I had alot of stuff.
We've got anywhere from 15-30 hourly rated guys and from 2-4 sub framing crews, and I supply alot of stuff.
I don't want a crew out there pounding nails. Pointless and doesn't make money. I'll drop a compressor and some hose with a couple guns and that same crew doubles in speed, which means we turn over houses faster, making me more money.
They eventually get all their own stuff but in the mean time I need houses finished,so I've got enough stuff to keep the turnover rate consistently fast, which keeps the builders happy and giving me all their houses.
We've also got 2 condo projects and I've already tried using 1 big monster compressor to feed all the site air,and it doesn't keep up. So I put 3 compressors on the floor. No gun runs off more than 100' of hose. Guns shoot faster.
