oil test

I'm interested in having my oils tested by blackstone.
I have a 2000 olds alero with 70,000 miles and a 2005 silverado with 7400 miles.
I don't remember exactly how many miles are on this oil ( closely around 3000 i think )
And i don't know what brand of oil is in the olds. I do know my truck has Mobil 1.
My question is should i wait till next oil change to collect a sample for testing or go ahead now. Both cars are asking for oil change's now.

Wait so you know what you're testing.

If your alero is a V6 with dino, I'd test it now and change. If you haven't had a leak in the coolant through the intake gasket , you need that info to know whether you should be going beyond 3K or getting new gaskets. If its M1 I'd go 5k on the Alero and test unless you've lost coolant.

It's had dino since day one.
I haven't seen any coolant loss ever and it doesn't use any oil either.
