I hadn't changed oil in like 15 years on something that wasn't diesel powered, but did it for the first time yesterday (Camry). Back then I did 3k OCI's, probably a good thing as they were carb motors and cheap conventional oil. But I don't recall them smelling this much of gas. Maybe I just haven't done it in a while (a couple years ago I filled up a jerry can for the lawnmower and was taken aback by how stinky gasoline is), or does long OCI oil just smell more?
[It doesn't smell like raw gasoline, it's not over powering, and car runs just fine, gets better than expected mpg, so no issues there. Just 10kmile oil.]
