Oil sample taking input . . .?

I need to send in a oil sample to checked for engine coolant in the crankcase. If there is antifreeze in the crankcase in any amount should I wait until the oil is nearly drained or should I take a sample as normal?

Basically does ethylene glycol float [last to drain] or does it disperse through the oil fairly completely?

I wait 5 seconds after taking off the drain plug to get my sample.
