Hi guys,

I have Toyota Sienna 06 3.3L, and I drive it every week 300 miles. I usually change the oil every let's say(4500 - 5000) miles. I am currently using Mobil 1 5w30. I need to get the maximum protection for the engine.

The question is that does Mobil 1 5w30 work fine for that with OEM oil filter? or not

BTW, I am living in Ontario, Canada. My everyday route has 16 traffic lights + 28 kms

I had to ammend this because I misunderstood your question. 4-5K miles with M1 and your OEM filter is a great interval. 300 miles/week is plenty of drivind to get your oil up to temp I imagine and any major brand oil should handle that OCI well. have no worries.

Sounds like a good amount of stop-n-go. IMO, I'd run your current M1/filter to 6k, or run a conventional oil 4k. Just my opinon as any good syn in a N/A engine should be good for at least that.

Overkill, yes, for the OCI and the mileage any Dino should do but if you like to keep using the current set up there should be no issues at all.
