I would stick with 5w30 for warranty reasons. Any name brand dino, semi-synthetic, or full-synthetic 5w30 would be fine. Mobil 1 & Castrol Syntec are probably going to be the most readily available synthetics in the Madison, AL area.
AC Delco oil filters are fine for your vehicle. They are good quality, low-priced filters that just plain get the job done.
Another filter you might want to look into is the Valvoline Maxlife filter #VF3675. They are currently free after mail in rebate at Advance Auto Parts.
