Oil question (99 civic si)

I just bought a 99 civic si and the old owner had been running mobil 1 drive clean in it for 80k, Can i switch to mobil full synthetic without having problems?

Yes just watch the oil level for the first 2 changes to make sure it doenst use any. Personally not a fan of M1.

Why would it use oil?

What would you suggest besides m1?

Mobil 1 will work fine for you if that's the brand you prefer. I have used Castrol Syntec in several Honda's in the past with good results. Any brand of synthetic will work...

Yeap can't go wrong with Mobil 1 as its a safe bet. It may not be the best in every application but rarely is it no good.
