A Felpro brand gasket that is called for would do just fine. A good gasket is only as good as the craftsmanship of the installer! A competent mechanic will install the quality gasket with out fail. Men/Women of skill and professionalism use the best parts available. Finding these people is the rub. They are not always easy to find. But when found, you should send them X-mas cards showing them you care. Because they will care for your car as if it was there own! The shop that I work at gets cards, thank you letters, cake, brownies, etc. all year long. When I am eating these home baked goods it makes me feel like a million bucks. Makes the day that much sweeter. We are out there and we do exist. Keep looking for a good repair shop, it is worth it. Good luck!
It took me years to find a mechanic I trust, and little by little I've been giving his shop jobs I'd rather not tackle when my time is limited. I make it a point to ask the owner which tech is working on my vehicle, then tip him. These guys know my fleet now, and go the extra distance for me. Good mechanics are very hard to find, and once found should be treated well IMO.
