Okay, I'm debating on what I should do with the "beater", aka my Cobalt.
Right now I'm running M1 5w30, which it slowly warmed up to-but now it likes. (My guess is that it cleaned out some "stuff") For the next two oil changes, I have some PP of the same flavor lined up and ready to go.
Thing is, for a beater, it's a pretty well cared for. I'm wondering if I even need a full syn for this car. I've been considering a blend, but haven't thought about dino again yet. The car does does a good amount of city driving though.
On the flip side, I'm going by the OLM for the M1, and this is probably the longest an oil has been in there....
So, what should I do? Go blend? Dino? Push the OCI with the PP? With this car, I'm just planning on saving money, so that replace the wife's car in the near future.
Your thoughts?
