Oil for Ford F250 Powerstroke 7.3

Has any one used Valvoline Premium Blue Extreme 5W-40 full synthetic oil in the 7.3 Diesel

I have a 2002 F350 Power Stroke 4x4 Super Cab and plan on sticking with the MotorCraft 15w40 diesel oil and MotorCraft oil filter. I believe Dodge (Cummins owners) use this oil. You may want to do some research with some Dodge Cummins Diesel owners.

Judging from where you are located I would say any 5w40 or 5w30 synthetic would be a good choice.

I use Amsoil 15w40 in my powerstroke but will be changing it to the 5w30 series 3000 at the next change to see if I pick up any mileage gains.

valvoline makes ford 15w40? Hmmm wonder why they didn't get conoco to do it since they were already making their 20 and 30 weights....

I like rotella t 15w40 and lube control for my power stroke. the oil stays cleaner longer.

I used this oil from Dec thru April of last year. I plan on using it again.
