hi guys, i'm an italian boy riding a Fiesta ST 1.6T 2015. The EU specs for this engine are 5W30 ACEA A5 with Ford 913D approval. I'm running Addinol 0530 FD but i'd like to try something different. I'm in doubt between these oils:

Ravenol FDS 5W30 A5/B5 913D (PAO base)
IV 163
flash point 228°C
TBN 10.1
visc. @40°C 58.3
visc. @100°C 10.2
noack 8.9%

Pakelo 5W30 A5/B5 913D (HC base)
IV 162
flash point 220°C
TBN 11.4
noack 11.4%

Liqui Moly 5W30 A5/B5 913D (HC base)
IV 179
flash point 220°C
TBN 11.1
visc. @40°C 52.4
visc. @100°C 9.9
noack 12%

Here the specs of Addinol 0530 FD (HC base)
IV 172
flash point 230°C
TBN 11.5
visc. @100°C 9.8

Thanks for the advices

I'd personally run the Ravenol, but I may be biased.... ;)

Castrol Magnatec Professional 5w30 has the specs and approvals you need.

oh please, Castrol Magnatec is a **** :ROFLMAO:
You asked for something different, not necessarily to choose among the oils listed. Besides, Castrol Magnatec is quite highly regarded on Bitog, you've done enough lurking to know that. It also meets your requirements, so the emoji you posted wasn't called for.

Magnatec is way lower in specs compared to the others i listed...too low flash point for a turbocharged engine and probably a high noack value because when i have used it, my catch can was filling up faster that with Addinol. So i'm sorry but i don't think Magnatec A5 (or Ford spec) is a good oil (at least for this engine) :)

And you have facts to cover your statement for sure? The “oil catch can” argument is questionable, “probably high noack” I don’t even want to start with this one. BTW good luck with that 1.6T, I just talked to a friend in Europe and his 1.6 ecoboost died after 120k km.

so which could be a good argument to start with? in the same engine it has a higher volatility, is this not enough? the flash point is weak and it costs a lot with no reason at all.

BTW a friend of mine has 1.6T with 280hp and 115k km with no problem at all, if mine will died "after 120k km" no problem, i'll buy a new car...but thanks for worry about me (y):ROFLMAO:

You’re flexing you can buy a new car but a jug of Magnatec is expensive? Cool story bruv.

it's expensive for the quality of the oil, have i to explain you every single word? come on, i don't want to put Castrol in my engine anymore, is this a problem for you?
