Oil for Dodge Caliber SRT-4?

Im asking this for a friend, he has a 2008 Dodge Caliber SRT-4 with the 2.4L. It calls for 0w40. He just got it, and he dosn't know which brand to use. What do you recommended?

Mobil 1 will be the easiest to find.

Thanks for the replies. He was also wondering if the AC delco filters would be good. Any input?

Aren't AC delco filters still made by fram? If they are, then no.

I like Purolator and Wix, and K&N are fine if you want to be spendy, but that's just my opinion.

For sure use a quality filter like K&N, M1, PureOne, Wix/Napa Gold, Bosch Distance Plus.

You can also add Amsoil's EaO filters to that list, albeit they are not "on the shelf" like the others mentioned above.
