Hello all you smart Bitoger's. I need some help. I recently purchased a 60 gallon Campbell Hausfeld air compressor, and I had to lay it down to transport it home. The compressor came without any compressor oil in it. But oil leaked out from the compressor. I believe it may be bearing oil? There is a fill cap with holes in it that goes down into a small reservoir around the pulley shaft. The oil leaked out the cap with the holes. It looks like pretty thick oil. Does anyone know what type of oil to replace the spilled oil with, and how much to put in? There isn't a dipstick or a sight gauge for it. There is a sight gauge for the compressor pump. I bought some Ingersoll Rand synthetic oil for the pump. Thanks for the help!
