oh
isnt there a oil filter spec sheet somewhere on here? the conundrum i have is there are two honda's, one specs a wix 51064, the other specs a wix 51357. i have a shelf full of the 51064, but none of the 51357. thread & gasket diameter are the same, and i have already put it on. my question is what are the internal differences between the two, the 51064 is much larger than the other, which is good, but unless there are major differences internally between the two i am going to continue using the larger.
thanks

Glad to help... Also the diameters are slightly different and the height of the filter.

I would use the 8psi bypass as default for both so as not to create oil starvation by using the 16psi rated filter on the 8psi vehicle.

one is an 95 accord, the other 04 crv. i crossed them to a wix #, the filters i have on hand are deere ty22045(accord), the crv speced a ty26276. the crv filter i removed was smaller diameter than my lawnmower filter. since the gasket & thread were identical i figured the larger 22045 would suffice.
thanks again for the quick replies
