not sure if this particular vid has been shared previously, nice clean production line and process.
The threading oil did appear to start looking murky wonder how often it is filtered or replacedThanks for posting.
a) I don't think one assembly line worker's face was shown
b) The media was installed without glue/potting agent
c) The rolling of the seam was out of view...the carousel machine shown but the seam roll was underneath
d) I want to see where the stamping discards go to be recycled. Perhaps it's just an unceremonious heave into a melting crock?
e) Do thread cutting machines filter cutaway metal from the cutting oil?
f) The machinery involved was impressive. It was large enough to be adapted to differing sized product but still delicate.
g) Gotta love highly mechanized steps which are interrupted with trips in laundry baskets
They care cause it’s their livelihood we used to be that way big corporate and laziness of upcoming generations changed that for AmericansA lot of highly skilled toolmakers in Asia. Used to be that way in the US.

Around here, that bucket is emptied into a larger bin which is collected by a scrap company, mixed with other shredded metal and compacted, then shipped to any of the mills around the country where its re-melted and re-rolled. Steel can be recycled an infinite number of times. Might be a car fender or can of soup next time - who knows.
Why is the "orange filter" blue?
That 5W-30 is going to "blow it up" !!5w30 in a newish car . Hmmm . Those that watched to the end , thanks for the video
If you're talking about at time 6:00 and beyond, there is glue in the end caps. It's slightly lighter in color then the end caps. You can see some excess glue squeeze out when the media is installed an pressed into place.b) The media was installed without glue/potting agent
The video in that link shows the machines that put the glue into the end caps.Bigstar oil filters Korea. Perhaps they give lessons on QC….
