My g/f went with me to the doctors today. When I arrived back at her home this evening there were (2) heavy boxes taped together on her front porch steps. BITOG member DSparks sent them.
When we brought them inside and opened them I said,"OMG!"
In one box there is (29) FRAM PH6607 oil filters and (2) misc. oil filters as well. The other box is a case of (12) FRAM PH3614 oil filters. WOW!
The PH6607 filters are very small. The only thing I can think to use those on are maybe lawn equipment or small tractors. There are people in my church that have lawn service companies. They take turns doing the church grounds and do FREE lawn service for those that can't do it themselves. I was going to ask them if they could use these filters.
The PH3614's are very common. I can use those on the tenants vehicles in my complex and the other complex.
DSparks, from deep within my heart, I thank you very much for donating these oil filters. They will help out so many less unfortunate people!
As I always say, "God sees all!"
God Bless you and your family as well!

Hope the Feds don't think there is suspicious activity going on with all the packages. I can see the news now ... "home raided, but only found a mass stash of oil filters" - LoL.

Yes, it's also specified for a number of different models from Honda, Infiniti, Mazda, Subaru, and several others.

It's actually quite a popular filter application.

The 6607 is a short version of a 7317..20×1.5 thread....it will fit tons (most)of the import cars.....most of the quicky lubes consolidate and use the smaller filter in place of the longer 7317...it will also replace the "fat" version but im not sure of the regular #....dont be scared of it....

Exactlamente. I use the 7317 because I don't like the weedeater sized 6607

Blueovalfilter....I have another box all packed up and ready to be dropped off at the UPS store in the next day or so....contains bunch of fram ph6607's (short version of a ph7317) will fit most all of the imports with a 20x1.5 thread......and a bunch of ph3614's (short version of the longer ph3600...3/4×16 thread...fits lots of american stuff....The majority are orange cans and some other chinese equivalents but all will work fine...dont worry about the fram haters..:):)...Enjoy.

DS, this is a post you made in the last post I made on receiving oil filters. I totally forgot about you stating the specs on the the PH6607 and what they fit.
There are a few imports in my complex and the other complex as well. My mgr. owns an 2013 Nissan Altima. I am going to ask her more about her car and if she needs an LOF change. She helps us out so much and supports what we do wholeheartedly! Also, there is a Nissan Frontier truck at the other complex, but I don't know the year of it. I am going to find out more about the owner and their truck. That same complex also has an 1981 Nissan/Datsun 210. I am going to follow up on that one as well.
Again, thank you so much for the oil filters donation. You, along with all of the other BITOG members that have donated to this worthy cause, get my deepest heart felt respect and thanks!

The 6607 is used on most mazdas, toyotas, hondas, and I believe subarus. Use them with confidence. I have been using the 6607 on my protege for nearly 200k miles before i started using bosch, mobil 1, and fram ultras that I am getting for major discount or near free.

I have been an OBSERVER of this Forum for years, this will be my 1st post so be kind! I have a 2015 Nissan, I have been using dealer oil changes and had them go for full synthetic, besides charging $69 for just the oil change they are still using the standard Nissan oil filter. I have decided I will do my next oil change and would start using the XG6607 synthetic oil filter...... if I use the 7317 will this VOID the Nissan warranty
