Oil filter adhesive/glue

Was wondering if anyone could tell me how long a oil filter is good for before the adhesive/glue becomes compromised or starts falling apart? I'm going on the fifth year my truck has had the Fram Ultra on it.

I don't think I've ever seen one come apart due to adhesive failure.

I would like to see this filter cut open regardless!

I think most manufacturers would recommend it be changed once a year, regardless of usage, assuming it's used some. If the vehicle is just sitting in storage, that's another matter. It could go indefinitely.

Its probably a chemically bonded adhesive like an epoxy resin. I remember reading that ac delco used like an ultrasonic chemical welding process
