need one with an unusual small diameter tube that will fit my Honda, current one is probably 1/8" and too large...any ideas appreciated.

Your measurement sounds small. Is 1/8 inch the internal diameter of the probe? You need to give the maximum outside diameter you can use.

Here are the tube diameters for a mityvac:
0.23" OD x 5' long (5.7 mm OD x 1.5 m long) dipstick tube
0.26" OD x 5' long (6.6 mm OD x 1.5 m long) dipstick tube
0.41" OD x 5' long (10 mm OD x 1.5 m long)

I would say if you need something smaller, it's going to be sucking so slow that perhaps it's not going to work well even if you did get the correct tube.

Can't you just get a rubber bung and a bit of appropriate diameter tubing?

Or duct tape and..etc? (depending on how often you'll use it.)

There is tubing of that diameter. One could easily silicone it into a larger tube. Try and look at tubing supply at a pet store for aquariums. If your friendly with a nurse there is IV tubing and smaller yet is catheters.

i forget my brand but it's semi clear diameter like a coffee can.. 20" tall cylinder with a bicycle type hand pump, one tube fits inside the other.

Maybe if you gave us some background or some idea of what you are doing we wouldnt be guessing.. and you could get more specific answers.

Just next sequentially dmaller tubes into one another. My extractor is set up like that out of the box.

trying to extract from my Civic, the normal tube won't fit the dip stick tube and to pull the drain bolt i have to remove a skid cover that's a pia especially in the cold..doing mid OCI's because I suspect fuel dilution as the oil level seems to grow over 3k.

Going to take a LONG time to do an oil change with a syringe, and the oil will probably attack the piston gasket.

Cut a hole in the splash guard. Leave it open or turn the cut-out piece into a panel you can remove/install easily.

With a mild warmup, time to tackle the project the long hard way. I hate pulling oil from the top on a newer motor if there's a possible issue.
I in my 12 hour work day read that you were trying to get a sample because of rising oil levels:(

it's a new engine for Honda and I'm not certain on the fuel dilution, bought this early September and once the really cold hit seems like the oil level rose well over the top dipstick mark..could be just the way the crank was positioned when I did the first OCI, being new IDK, but til I figure it out I'm not going 12k on a fill hence the topside draw plan every 3k. Need a skinny tube cause the dipstick is weird...Honda's been sitting 4 weeks at my weekend home cause of ill timed snowy roads.

I just want to say that the Mityvac fluid extractor is one of the best tools I ever bought. Have one for oils and one for coolant now. Must have bought the first one 20 years ago, its still going strong.
