No, I don’t think it would, one reason is I’ve never seen a long life service regime for this engine, even Audi R8 has long life as a service option so I take that as this engine is harder on oil than most other VAG motors. Combine that with the evidence that we have here.
The BITOG team would run that oil another 10,000 miles. And why cut up the filter? It was good enough for another 2 or 3 OCI's!
