Oil and Auto-RX

Guys,

What brand of oil and weight is recommended with Auto-rx for the rinse phase? I typically use Mobil 1 5w30 in my 97 F150 4.6L. But today I changed to Pennzoil 5W20 with the cleaning phase
(it was time to change anyway). Should I stick with the same for the rinse phase and then switch back to the M1?

Use any straight dino for the rinse (better for the seals).

Directions say to run conventional oil for rinse, then back to M1. I have yet to see a 4.6 with a lot of sludge. Very good engine. I think the 6 quart sump plays a big part in keeping the oil in good shape and the engine sludge free.

A non synthetic oil is used to rinse particulates off of oil lubricated parts, please post what came out of your engine after rinse cycle. Also how your filter looked if possible.
