Oil analysis question

Do you guys who use Auto-RX, FP, LC, ETC, put that you are using these products on the paper that you send to the lab?

Are any of the labs that you use, familiar with these products, and take this into consideration when they make their comments?

I never have put this info on the paperwork and was wondering if I should or if it matters.

Most labs won't know anything about these products. Do post the info in the "Used Oil Analysis" section when you post the analysis results.

I have not sent samples when they have these treatments. I know they will have higher crud and other things that are not typical. Since the purpose of oil analisis is to monitor your maintenance program and improve it, an analisis with one of these products just presents a clitch in the history of the engine.
It is of course good to record the point at which it was done, so you can identify the cause and trends later when you look back.
