OG wire backed Fram Titanium FS2 C&P

Creasing the media allows more surface area for a filter's ability to filter & determines it's filtering capacity. There is a set amount of space for the media & the makers try to fit what they can inside of that space for filter & capacity performance.
Yes, as said before that's why pleats are made ("creasing the media" as you say) ... to obtain the required total media area inside the can to meet the design goals of the filter. But pleat shape and spacing does not effect the media's filtering or holding capacity performance. That's due to the design of the media and the total media area, not the shape of the media inside the can. If all the dirty oil goes through the media, it doesn't care what shape the media is in. Only thing that matters in terms of filtering performance and holding capacity is the specific media design (cellulose, blend, full synthetic, etc) and the total media area.

That last sentence is more of your instigating & is not what I said.
The bottom line is that you believe that filter pleat spacing will change the way the media filters and holds debris (holding capacity). You've said it many times now, and still can't explain how that could be possible.

Justin: I love you like a brother but SeeOSix is correct.

On the correct info he posted I’m sorry but you are not correct.

What you're doing here quoting me repetitively on a daily basis though is "Bickering" & you might want to back off. Otherwise, Mods. Fair warning.

It's a technical debate, which you are also participating in. If you don't want to participate in a technical debate, then don't respond to me when I point out a technical misconception.

The OG Ultra & OG Titanium have 2-ply full synthetic media, superior to ANY cellulose/blend filters. Except for the can rust problem! The pleats grooves aren’t what holds debris, it’s the media.

As expected, looks good at ~6k miles with OG wire backed two ply full synthetic media. The wider pleat spacing at seam pleat not really comparable to that of non-backed cellulose or blended media. It's fine here.

Thanks for c&p.
