out/off: 5ish quarts Delo XSP 5w-40 and BG EPR with OG Fram Titanium FS3593a

in/on: 5 quarts HPL PCEO 5w-40 with OG Fram Titanium FS3593a.

Lost count of how much oil this thing burned over the last OCI. did one more BG EPR flush. filter is perfect. long live the king of filters

it burns about a quart per 750 miles. pretty sure it needs valve seals.
I think on those valve stem seals can be done, fairly easily if you’re young, not that easy if you’re old. If there are rocker arms that expose the valve stems. I made an adapter from an old spark plug and an air fitting to use compressed air to hold the valves up while removing the keepers.

have to pull the camshafts out which requires pulling the timing components off. i’m not going to worry about it, it’s got 400k+ miles on it and i have a ton of oil
 
She smoke a lot on start-up? Ever try some Valvoline R&P in case it's stuck rings?
only smokes after idling about 10 minutes, tale tale of valve seal leaks due to vacuum. it’s had R&P, HPL EC30, HPL PCEO, two BG EPR flushes etc. filter comes out clean. i just think she’s worn out after 400k miles.
