The worst was watching Scott McLaughlin lose it while scrubbing in his tires. That's something you would expect from Danica. Not a top Penske driver.

I'm sure Penske is going to let him know about it. Especially after the whole "cheating" scandal. He doesn't tolerate mistakes very well. Especially one's like that.

That guy wrecked 2 cars in just 7 days... And never completed a lap under green.

About as stupid of a mistake as Kyle Larson pulled off.

Ya know that's why many drivers just don't trust some one off guy driving without a clue in a car that they have zero experience in and think they should accept them.

Ahh come on… why the hate towards Danica? She has an INDYCAR win, multiple INDYCAR podiums and a Daytona 500 pole. I get that she got TONS of hype, but she’s better than many drivers that have suited up for any racing series.

Has there been an Indy 500 with so much “stuff” happening before the race in the recent past? I don’t follow it closely but something was in the news every time you looked it seemed.

1992 was very similar. Very cold track temp, pole sitter Roberto Guerrero spun and crashed on a pace lap. Random accidents. I was hoping we would get the really close finished like that year, fun fact I was 8 then and we were at a Dodger game. They showed the finish line picture on the outfield screen.

Ahh come on… why the hate towards Danica? She has an INDYCAR win, multiple INDYCAR podiums and a Daytona 500 pole. I get that she got TONS of hype, but she’s better than many drivers that have suited up for any racing series.

I've always felt she got a raw deal as well. NASCAR is full of guys that always finish at the bottom of the order, JJ Yeley for example, and we don't ridicule them. Like you said, she had good runs and some success in both Indycar and NASCAR. Not many drivers have that on their resume`.

Mark my words now: Alex Palou will race alongside Lance Stroll at Aston Martin F1 next year...........

And yes, I know Alonso is under contract still next year. But it’s worth about as much as the deed to the beachfront property I have in Idaho.

Well, it now looks like Stroll won't be "racing" at all next year, after his temper tantrum last week. That kid never performed, and he never would have had that seat if it weren't for his father's money and clout with that team.

Alonso, even as old as he is, consistently out qualified him. About all Stroll was good for was wrecking equipment. He should marry Danica. What a tag team those 2 would make.

With that said, you could be right about Palou. Time will tell. There are still a lot of races left.
