Of these...which one?

Ok, here's my deal. I'm getting tired of trying to figure out which blend is best, and I don't want to pay synthetic oil prices. I don't want to rely on a sale because I want to stick with one brand. Basically, I want to use a conventional, one brand, and stick with it and change on a 3-4k OCI.

Of these (Valvoline, QS, Pennz, Havoline, Mobil Clean, Castrol GTX,) which one would you think is fine for 3-4k. I've always like Vavloline, but some have told me that Valvoline doesn’t seem to hold up as well in this mileage.

Well, my advice would be to do what I did. Bite the bullet, pay for synthetic, and run changes out to 7.5, 10, or even 12k in some instances. Price is at least break even, and better in some cases.

Pick the cheapest one on your list and buy a bunch of it "on sale" and sleep good....

Recently Valvoline Durablend was touted by an oil guru as showing lower wear than a lot of synthetics in used oil analysis.

Valvoline Maxlife and Durablend both have lots of positive results posted, as does Havoline.
I'd roll with any of these 3 and not worry about a thing...

Each on your list is fine oil. If asked to pick two, I would opt for Pennzoil and Quaker State. Both belong to the SOPUS family of Shell Oil.

This was not on your list and I don't know yr weight or application...I would consider using TropArtic (Conoco) _W30 "blend" from Walmart everyday at $1.68/qt.

Or step up to Motorcraft blend" 5W20/30 (Conoco) $10/5qt Walmart everyday.

Then take them out to 4.5K.

I really think that Motorcraft should be on your list, as it is my first pick.
It is what I use now.
