So I'm trying to find a low-cost source for a odd sized plastic-type tube. ID 15mm x OD 17mm x Length 100mm. I tried to find some tubing that would be close, but I've ha no luck. Any other thoughts? FWIW, this is to function as a AA battery spacer in a 3xCR123 to 2xAA conversion. Ideally I would like to leave the spacer in place to discourage accidentally using the CR123's. I know there are some custom flashlight people out there who offer these things but I hate to spend that much on such a simple piece... Surely there is something out there which will work or would work after slight modification!

I have a few ideas from the RC Car hobby days.

What's your price range? Amazon has roll-wrapped carbon fiber tubing but it's like $ 15. I used to use it for antenna linings:

Maybe try a local hobby shop?

Hey thats pretty cool! I wonder if there is anything like that in polycarbonate or delrin or whatever that would be even lower cost.

There's these things in polypropylene on eBay, slightly cheaper than the ones on Amazon:

Pipette Tips, 10 mL, 15 mm ID, 17 mm OD
