occasional wheel squeal

I have 2005 infiniti g35 coupe. occasionally, i hear a squeal coming from the passenger rear wheel. when the brake is applied the squeal gets louder. the pads have LOTS of pad on them (almost look new).

As i stated, this is only occasional. most of the time i hear nothing while driving and nothing while stopping.

any ideas?

Does this model have squeal indicators on the pads, and have you looked at the inner pads also? A squeal indicator may be bent, and the inner pads may be wearing more than the outer pads.

Stuck parking brake?

I have the same squeel. Its the pads.

Why would the inner pads wear more than the outer pads? Is this normal?

on a sliding caliper, ya it is.
