Do I need a new Equipment ID every time I change oil brand?

Just a question for the OAI Horizon users. I submitted two VOAs (see sig) but each time I added them, it forced me to use a different equipment ID for the same vehicle (silly since it never touched the engine).

Fast forward and I'm now submitting a UOA so I wanted to get it right this time. It does not allow me to use the same equipment ID. Do I need to make another equipment ID for the same vehicle?

Other questions: Is there a simplified instruction list somewhere that people here use to input their vehicles information? I always feel like I'm doing it wrong with the 1 million different options they have to chose from.

For example, my vehicle is a VW mk7 golf with the 1.8T EA888 gen 3. Would I fill it out as shown below??
Component Type: GASOLINE DIRECT INJECTION ENG.
Component Mfr: Volkswagen
Component Model: 1.8T (or EA888.3???)
Application: Automotive

Virgin samples are considered a Baseline Reference. They should each have their own Equipment ID. See the area in red below. Vehicle UOAs should have their own Equipment ID. See my 03HONDACIVIC, for example. Then you list the oil for that vehicle under Product Name, Manufacturer, and Grade (EDGE EURO CAR, CASTROL, SAE 5W40 for my Civic). If you change the oil you use on that vehicle (Equipment ID), then you change that in the Product Name/Manufacturer/Grade fields. If the oil you use is one of your Baseline Reference oils, the virgin results will show in your UOA in the line "BL" (for Baseline Reference).

Thank you sir! I got all my info submitted more correctly this time. Two UOAs coming in the next few weeks
It's not easy to figure their site out. It took me several tries before it all started to click. Their terminology doesn't make a whole lot of sense until you know, then it sort of does. ;)
