I am a big fan of the spray wax available today, so I thought I would give the NXT Booster spray-on wax a whirl. I didn't use it over the NXT Wax, I just used it like any other spray on wax. I must say I was a little dissappointed. In comparison to Tutle Wax Express Wax. I found the NXT Booster wax much more difficult and time consuming, and the shine wasn't noticibly different. Unless this stuff needs the plain NXT wax, and it really is just a booster for the NXT, then I wouldn't recommend it as a quick express/spray-on wax. I estimated it took me at least twice as long to use than the Turtle Wax Express Wax. ANyone else out there just try this as a quick detail wax on its own?

Considering that they clearly state that it is not to be used in that fashion, I don't think it's fair to make any judgement by using for it's unintended purpose.

I have very good results with it. I use it about once a week when I quick detail my car, and I have no issues with getting it off quickly and easily. Try it with a base of NXT.
I too found the NXT spray wax to be disappointing. I used it to "boost" an existing coat of NXT. It was a PITA to use (for a spray wax); left white spots when sprayed directly onto the paint, when sprayed onto an applicator the process was no quicker than using the regular NXT wax, it was not as slick or glossy as the regular NXT wax, and durability could be measured in days.
I know spray waxes are not supposed to be the equals of non-spray products but NXT spray wax was clearly inferior. It should be easy to apply and remove at the very least, but it wasn't. I see no logical reason to buy this product when for a few more $$ the NXT Tech wax is better in every respect.

Try this out. I spray it on the wet microfiber I use to quick detail my car. Once the car dries to a white haze I wipe it all off. It works very well for me. Hopefully this helps.
Thanks for the replies. I have a whole bottle of the stuff, so I am sure I will continue to use it, I can mange to find the extra time and elbow grease this stuff requires on occassion. I guess if I don't have the time I'll just get out the Express Shine. I find it hard to believe that the booster wax cannot be used over another base wax other than NXT, but maybe that is the problem. Regardless of shine and longeviety, I still think it is only nominaly quicker than straight paste/liquid wax.
I'm sure, being a synthetic "wax", that the NXT Booster Wax was developed to compliment the regular NXT Wax. This probably makes it rather incompatible with other products and most likely will give poorer results.
With synthetics they can do all kinds of things with the proprietary chemistry to give certain characteristics, ie: ease of use, longevity, depth of shine, optical clarity, etc. They really are starting to gain some acceptance, even amongst hard core natural wax users. Hmmm, sounds just like synthetic oils when they were first coming out.
Just wanted to update. Like I said before, I have a whole bottle of this stuff, so I will be using it until gone. I just put another application on my Dakota (its been about 2 weeks) over the first booster wax, and things went much smoother this time around. Still not as easy to use as some other quick detail/spray waxes, but this time the application was much smoother than the first. The other thing I noticed is the NXT really sheets well as oppossed to beading well. I am starting to like this product a little more!!!
I finally got around to trying the booster. Did the NXT after wash. Then did the booster. I think it's great. It improved on the NXT base and it was easy to apply and remove. Just quickly spray an entire panel, spread it around and move to next one. And your done in a couple min. Just have to wait to remove.
