This is a question for those experienced with the product. Please, I'm not looking for a debate on what is better, Nu Finish or other products. Just looking for advice from those who have used it.
I put a coat of this on my 2005 Acura MDX this past weekend. It went on really nice, and buffed off easily (I used the liquid version). However, as I was applying it, I realized that I could probably stand to clay bar the whole vehicle. Since Nu Finish is "not a wax", is there a coating of "something" that's now on the paint that needs to wear off before I can clay bar it? A related question also is, if I use the clay bar on it (with proper lubrication, etc), will that remove the Nu Finish?
Secondly, the bottle says something about not using on plastic. I assume that means clear or textured plastic. This is fine to use on painted vinyl/plastic bumpers, right? I'm used to waxing anything with a painted surface.
Thanks!
