Yesterday morning I was getting ready to take the boys to school & head to work when I noticed a small puddle on floor of the barn. Started the truck up, pulled outside and had a drip coming down the side of the tank from the top somewhere. Took the truck to the local shop in town after getting kids to school and let them know I had a leak near the top of tank. I just don't have the ability to drop the tank myself in my barn nor did I want to attempt it. They dropped the tank down and called me to let me know a fuel line had rubbed a hole through itself vibrating on the frame rail. He said it was not rusted but literally just rubbed through. Dealership part only which was out of stock of course so it will be a few days till parts arrive to get it back together.
