Those equating single place work longevity with success should be mindful that staying at a miserable job long term is not a good way to spell success.

Joining the chest beating crowd here, this spring I have 40 years with my current employer and I plan to enjoy as many more as feasible.

I passed 17 years at my employer recently. Saw an announcement that someone was retiring after 48 years. Even if that was a typo I've seen plenty of employees being congratulated on 30+ years.
