When this site started, Group II was thought to be a quantum leap from Group I.

I think you either mistated or misunderstood. Their is significant gap in performance betweeen grp 1 and Grp !!. The gap between Grp 11 and Grp 111 is minimal in performance and not apparent in many categories.

Thanks guys, yeah i learnt heaps from that site. Taught me more about things i already new. On other threads i was assuming Hydotreated neutral oil was group 1, now i know its not. Just from the tables, performance diff between 1 and 2 didnt seem like much but 3 and pao were miles away.
