Yack, send it back. There's got to be someone in your area still supplying Green.

You know where I saw a good deal on Peak Green was at Sam's Club. Six 1 gal jugs boxed for I want to say ~$40. Other than that about the only places that carry it around here is NAPA and Advance.

PB had the best price on antifeeze for a long time then a local fuel place had Chevron green cheaper. Lately both have been creeping up to about $10 a gallon my cost.

I still don't see what's the big deal about using the good 'ol green stuff.

If the all makes/models fluid is really that bad, they would have tons of lawsuits and the stuff would be off the market by now.

I've been using the all makes/models stuff for 5+ years without any issues.

Only if people took the time to connect the dots between coolant and failures that happen months/years later. Most don't.

Am I missing something here? I just topped off the coolant in my car and it was Peak all-makes/models and it was green... this isn't the same stuff you're talking about?

Peak AM/AM is a Dexclone. Read the bottle label, look for 2-EHA. This discussion is about an ORIGINAL green--phosphated, low silicate non-OAT coolant.

$8.99 is too much for us to pay and be able to resell it at a profit.
We get $12 a gallon for it at the shop. If we go any higher than $12 customers start bringing in their own coolant.

My cost on green usually hovers arounf $6-$7 a gallon.

I have to buy a huge amount to get a price break.
