Heys Guys.
I have an 01' Dodge Caravan 4 cylinder.
I have had no heat for over 2 winters now.
When turning the heat on after warm up in the winter I get about 15-30 seconds of warm air followed by ice cold air.
The heat does not work on any setting.
I have had the water pump, timing chain, coolant changed. I changed out the thermostat and flushed the radiator. I also changed the blend door actuator motors under the dash.
Both the lower and upper radiator hoses get hot and the lower and upper heater core hoses get hot as well. Yet still no heat.
I was told it is most likly an air temperature blend door.
Can anyone verify this or give me a detailed tip on how hard it is to access a air temp blend door that seperates the heat from the cold air?
I have a 2001 Dodge Caravan 4 Cylinder motor, I know all motors are different but this van being a 4 cylinder is pretty easy to work on and I was hoping the blend door would be just as easy to access as most of the other parts.
Thanks in advance.
