The 20k mile SuperTech oil is the one that carries dexos. This isn't new.
This is the item picture currently in the Walmart app. So, at one time it was Dexos approved.
I have six jugs of dexos Supertech FS 5w30 10k at home. I just bought a couple jugs about a week ago. The 10k has been dexos certified here until just recently.
May or may not be apples to apples, but the Kirkland Synthetic 5W-30 I got at Costco recently has the dexos label on it.
It sold out locally when the prices all went up last week. This looked new stock. I was in a hurry and only got one picture. I really don’t think the 20k they had was Dexos either. I’ll try to get back over there in a few days and get some better pics.
We are pretty close to their main distribution center. More so than other areas. This is definitely a change from what it was even just a week or so ago.
Interesting. I checked Walmart website and motor oil prices were up today.
Went by another, small, rural Walmart tonight.

Anyone know where you can get current Supertech oil product information sheets?
Or could they have changed to a new supplier that is indeed not up to Dexos snuff?

I think you're right. They wouldn't allow any sort of emergency exemption either, when they were pressed on it.
I think we'll see Dexos go extinct soon. Perhaps Mobil will stick with it since they have GM as a big customer. But perhaps even the Mobil 0 (non-1 "Full Synthetic") will drop it.
Just returned from my local Walmart. None of the Super Tech had the Dexos label. It also had the most empty spaces on the shelf of all the oil brands
