Nissan power steering fluid

Owners manual reads Nissan PSF only. But for Canada you can use Dexron III/Mercon. Why spec. different fluids for USA & Canada. They are all(Nissan Titan) built in Canton,MS. USA.

Nissan for years has used either power steering fluid or dexron ATF in their PS systems. Use whatever you want.
What occurs in a different market is dependent on management there.
