Nissan Pathfinder Trans. Maintenance

I have a 2001 Nissan Pathfinder with 45k at 30k I had the dealer flush trans. I travel from the north east to Florida and drive about 15 hours at 80 mph. every 2 months and thought it would be a good idea to just drain and refill the tranny at 15k intervals as there is no filter. I use synthetic oil on oil changes every 3k miles. Does anyone know how much trans. fluid this model takes? Thanks for the help.

9 qts total capacity you need about 5 qts for just drain and refill.
I use Nissan Matic "D" $5/qt in nyc.
