I have a 1995 Nissan Pathfinder 4x4 and I'd like to change the rear diff fluid. It has a sticker on it that says use only LSD-fluid, so I'm thinking about the Valvoline Durablend fluid which is readily available. I have two questions:
1) This fluid says on the label "for Limited Slip" so I assume I do not need an additive?
2) The drain plug socket is a strange size. It has a square-looking hole for a socket, it looks like what you would use if you had a breaker bar without a socket on the end of it, but it looks larger than the 1/2 inch drive size. Does anyone know what size this is?

no need to add an additive and it's a 1/2" drive for the drain plug...

make sure you can loosen the fill plug first before draining the fluid...
