NISSAN OEM FILTER CUT OPEN

Was off a 2021 Nissan Titan Pro FX4 truck. Has these metal fancy things on bed similar to Chevy Avalanche. 15k on Safety Kleen 5w30 blend DEXOS 1 Gen2 oil. Lost location didn’t even change oil filter

Put on wix 51358 and 5w30 blend oil

It doesn’t look bad for 15K. Seeing how the Germans specify 10-15K OCIs and a majority of them come with Hengst/Mahle/Mann/Purflux from the factory.

I want to know where to find these. All Nissan sells is Chinese or Mexican filters. It’s a good “universal” Japanese filter there - unless the car needs a 3/4x16 thread(Toyota), high bypass(Subaru), or tiny filter(some Nissan and Mazda).

Most likely just at the factory during production.

Hmm, how big is that thing? Is it 7317 size because save for the black ADBV it looks quite similar to a Mahle Tennex Honda Filter.

Not really, the base plate, center tube and bypass valve are way different. Plus the end caps are thicker.
