Ended up with a metal barbed T fitting and had to get a piece of scrap hose from O'Reilly. Just needed about 1" extra (hose with the hose clamps coming from the intake pipe) so there wasn't too much twist/tension on it. My OCD really wants to make me change the hose clamps to the tension style....
