First time oil analysis on a new 2025 Sentra SV 2.0 DGI. Mostly short hop city driving. Oil changed with Valvoline Advanced 0w20 and a Nissan 15208-65FOE Oil Filter.

I suggest you drive your car at highway+ speeds for 30 miles on a weekly basis. Your engine will love you for it, and it will get rid of the fuel dilution issue.

Dump the Nissan filter if it’s still gohner. I’ve had more than one that the adbv flipped down and stayed there causing dry starts. I’ve had good luck with just about every filter made but these in my 20 plus years of owning Nissans. I reached out to Nissan about this issue and they could have cared less.

Thanks for your input! I checked the filter after removal and didn't find an issue with the adbv.

I’ve never had an issue with my 21 using this filter, but after I saw it with my 18 and 09 I didn’t use this filter for long. My 21 and 24 (same engine) as the older cars, just redesigned. My newer cars also don’t rev up when 1st started like my 2.5s of old. My theory is the initial rev exposes the flaw of the adbv. They’re an extremely well built filter, which is a shame. I know I’ve seen others on here with the issue so I’d be on guard if your going to use them.
