Here's a Nissan 2007 4x4 Pathfinder transfer case Nissan Matic-D factory fill ATF fluid UOA with 33500 kms. The truck use is mainly stop and go city and freeway with no towing or roof rack hauling nor other heavy use or abuse, and probably about 8,000 kms of ice and snow 4x4 use. I usually remember to run the truck in both 4x4 high and 4x4 low for a few minutes each week to check that everything is mated up and working.
The following is a VOA of some Nissan Matic-D ATF, although not the same batch as above; a bottle I picked up at a dealership;
Are there any problems with the metal levels so far and how low can the TBN go on a 4x4 transfer case ATF before it stops doing it's work? Thanks for any comments.
