i hope i havent posted this before, if i have forgive me. i watched NHRA fuel drags. i soon saw a problem. most of the cars didnt finish the track under power. out of 29 passes 2 cars each pass. 19 passes only one car finished under power. 10 passes 2 cars finished under power. so nhra is asking me to pay big bucks to see more than half of the cars not finish under power? how can they say this is racing?

NHRA can't stop drivers dropping out of full power if they don't think it's worth it to keep running.

One full run is hard on engines, lots of fuel...etc...if they know they've lost, they will 'save' the car for a later run.

THIS..

Most of them are shutting them down at 1000 ft, still running in the 320 area. Went to z-max a couple of weeks ago

Are we talking top fuel cars or the lower classes? Top fuel cars only run 1000ft now, the other classes run the full 1320.

As far as cost, look up how much a Top Fuel block costs, trust me you will be shocked if you don't already know. Also remember a block is usually only used for 4 runs then it is junked out.

Vote with you wallet and don't pay.
Like NASCAR, NHRA is becoming one long corporate commercial with some racing in between. I used to enjoy watching the Daytona 500, now I can't take it. Its almost like professional wrestling in a way.

Too many rules, drivers strapped in like astronaunts, running virtually indentical cars sponsored by the likes of Best Buy, Burger King and GEICO, Booring!

i still think i could come a good way to fix the trouble. but i KNOW i would get flamed a ton if i did. i started watching drag racing in 1955, 1956. in the 60 i went to TONS of drag racing. so i think iam allowed for my idea. i realy think ill just keep it to my self. but if i ask people to come see a show and half the show cant finish, i would be embarrassed.

what would you say if you went to a NFL game and half the players got hauled off to the hospital before the end of the game
