I just picked up a set of 4 of these off the amazon machine for $110/ea in 265/70/16 flavor for my 2022 Nissan Frontier S crew cab 4x4. Made with the finest Korean materials and craftsmanship. They are 3 mountain peak rated and are chonky suckers. One of my college aged kids (works full time, goes to school the rest) is the primary user of my 2022 Frontier now and I want to reduce the chance of major issues for her in the winter.

These are going to go on the factory 16" steelies, and then I have a summer set of OEM 17" alloys I bought from a fella a year or two back, that came off of a 2022 SV w/ a set of Mastercrafts all seasons on them. The OEM 16" yokohamas that are on the steelies still, are in such good shape and ride so nice yet, I might hang on to them. I just hate the thought of 2 full sets of tires sitting in my 2-car (or shall I say car-less) garage LOL. Lots of tire sets in there with my current 5 car fleet.

I'll add to this thread in the winter, when these tires will unfortunately be put to use.

Maybe build a wall mount for the tires.. or suspend from the roof? ;p

They arent top tier winter tires but probably better than most non-winter tires in the white stuff.

The reviews I could find said they were good in water, ok in dry, but last place in ice traction.
Might want to get them studded.

Last place in a winter tire comparison might still be good vs an all terrain or all season.. or it might not.

Your best bet is to budget for a big name brand, but I've had no issues with import winter tires so far. I've had a few sets of GT Radial IcePros over the years that were used 2-3 winters and sold quickly on FB market place when I no longer owned the vehicle.

I scored a set of Kelly Winter Access snows for my kid's 2016 Malibu last year for something like $75/ea on amazon.

Had some Blizzaks for our Odyssey years ago that I bought used, used them a few winters and they still quickly sold..

The 2015 versa is still rocking a set of Firestone winterforce snows that are way too old and loud at this point, but the tread is really good yet. All these tires get stored in a clean, dry, out of the sunlight garage.

I don't run snows on my Equinox or my wife's Traverse due to the AWD. They would be like tanks with snows. Some day when I'm able to ween the stock back maybe.

Iirc @OVERKILL had some dud hankooks
The closest thing I had to a Dud was some Yokohama IG51? series but they were more average than terrible

Not "dud" but they did get hard and their ice performance got downright scary, which is why I replaced them with the Michelin's.
